As part of its cultural seminar series initiative, the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) Medical Committee invited the AUB community, its faculty, students, staff, alumni, and friends to attend The Anti-Corruption Forum: “The 10 Principles of Fighting Corruption.”
Mr. Mike Masoud, the Sr. Director of The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) in the Middle East and Africa, and Ms. Gina Chammas, the Sr. Advisor of The AACI in MENA, discussed the ten principles of fighting corruption in the context of the health sector thoroughly. Afterward, Mr. Masoud and Ms. Chammas answered the audience questions and addressed many anti-corruption medical-related issues.
AUBMC_Principles-of-Anti-Corruption_Forum_Jan_15_20Masoud said that universities have a crucial role to play in fighting corruption. They are primarily responsible for the students’ and faculty’s adequate anti-corruption awareness.
