Effective July 1, 2021, the CACM exam questions content shall be updated to include essay questions. The number of essay questions shall be three: 5 points for each question.
The time of the exam will not change: it is 160 minutes. Also, the passing score of the exam shall not change: it continues to be 75%.
As a result, the total number of the graded questions of the CACM exam shall become as follows:
A. 100 multiple choice and true/false questions counting for 100 points
B. 3 essay questions counting for 15 points
The passing score of the CACM exam would be 86 points (75%).
The Exam Unit shall issue a detailed CACM update and provide examples about the essay questions that shall appear in the exam.
