The American Anti-Corruption Institute in Nigeria (AACI) is set to train professionals in the country on new ways to tackle the menace in public institutions and agencies of the government called corruption.
The body, worried by the level of corruption in Nigeria and the inability of the government to win the war against it, also admitted that it is evident that corruption is an international phenomenon crossing national borders.
The Strategic Partner of the body in Nigeria, Dr. Fagbayide A. Oluwole, said: “It is no longer an option to do nothing regarding fraud and corruption. However, fighting corruption is multifaceted and should always be carried out in a disciplined approach. The AACI believes that qualified management is well positioned to effectively fight fraud and corruption.
