Technical staff
June 17, 2025
At The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI), we believe that credibility is earned—not claimed. Our certification programs, including the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM), represent more than technical knowledge; they reflect a commitment to measurable integrity and the highest standards of professional excellence.
To further enhance the credibility and fairness of our certification process, we are introducing comprehensive browser monitoring protocols across all The AACI-administered exams. This applies to both in-person and Zoom-proctored sessions.
Effective June 1, 2025, all candidates must comply with the following digital conditions when sitting for an AACI exam:
- The exam will launch in full-screen mode, which must be maintained throughout the session.
- Switching tabs, minimizing the browser, or opening other applications is strictly prohibited and automatically logged.
- All off-screen activity is tracked, time-stamped, and reviewed by The AACI’s Exam Integrity Committee.
- A flag-and-review policy applies: violations are reviewed in context, and excessive or suspicious behavior may lead to invalidation of results or disqualification.
- While candidates may use desktops, laptops, tablets, or mobile devices, desktop or laptop use is strongly recommended for exam stability and compliance.
- Candidates are fully responsible for disabling notifications, closing unrelated applications, and ensuring uninterrupted focus.
These measures are not merely technical—they are strategic. They reflect our resolve to protect the integrity of our credentials and to preserve the value of The AACI certifications in a global environment where trust is often in short supply.
Integrity cannot be optional when certifying those responsible for governance, compliance, and ethical leadership. Every measure we implement, from live proctoring to browser monitoring, is designed to ensure that The AACI-certified professionals have earned their titles with distinction.
For any questions regarding the new browser monitoring protocol, candidates may contact the Exam Unit at Exam@THEAACI.com.
Together, Empowering Tone at the Top.
