We stand by the Ten Principles of Fighting Corruption promulgated by The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI). We do not accept the US authority’s feedback as stated above. Unless the US authorities take all the necessary effective measures to investigate such allegations, the damages would be irreparable and whistleblowers will be exposed!
As corruption is a business risk, the board members should take all the necessary measures to prevent, deter, detect, correct, and punish culprits….
Even if the independent auditor delivers an unqualified (clean) audit report, it implies that the financial statements may still contain serious misstatements that the auditor was unable to identify.
