CACM candidates frequently ask the following questions. When you do not find the information you need, please contact us.
- Have a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, and
- Have three years of experience in a managerial position accompanied with managerial responsibilities, and
- Pass the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager ®©(CACM) ®© in-person proctored online exam, and
- Provide an assertion to a non-prior indictment in any act to the discredit of the code of ethics of The Institute, and
- Abide by The AACI code of ethics, and
- Satisfy The AACI continuing professional educational (CPE) requirements, and
- Maintain a good standing and membership in The Institute
One can apply for the CACM by filling the CACM online application on the membership portal (THEAACI.net).
- The entire exam consists of one hundred and five multiple choice and true/false questions.
- There are unidentified five questions that will not be included in the grade of the exam.
- It is limited to 160 (one hundred sixty) minutes. Once you start the exam, it will stop automatically after 160 minutes.
- You cannot pause and resume later.
- You must attempt each question to move forward. However, you will not be able to go backward.
- You can take the exam one time.
- The passing score on the exam is 75% or 75 questions out of 100.
- When you pass the exam, you may download the CACM exam completion certificate.
- As the exam includes questions that have mathematical computations, you need a calculator to assist you in solving those questions.
- The grade of each question is 1 point. You need 75 points to PASS.
- The entire exam consists of one hundred and five multiple choice and true/false questions.
- There are unidentified five questions that will not be included in the grade of the exam.
The exam fee is USD 925. It is a non-refundable fee and covers all the following:
- One time exam session fee (USD 850)
- CACM Review textbook (PDF format)
- One session of 25 practice questions
- CACM membership non-refundable application fee (USD 75)
- First-year annual CACM membership fee
The CACM Exam Authorization means the approval of the Exam Unit to allow a CACM registrant to sit for the exam.
Besides, the CACM registrant may buy up to two additional CACM Exam Authorization to sit for the exam. The CACM Exam Authorization non-refundable fee is USD 250. When brought together, the two CACM Exam Authorization non-refundable fee is USD 399. The validity of CACM Exam Authorization is up to December 31 of the year in which the CACM applied for the CACM via exam path.

The AACI delivers the CACM review course and exam in three modes: In-Person, In-Person Via Zoom, and Blended mode.
The AACI provides these parties with significant support to enable them to conduct CACM review courses to their constituents.

Accredited CACM Review Courses
The AACI accredits CACM Review courses worldwide. We accredit CACM Review courses and do not certify the providers of those courses.
When The AACI accredits a CACM Review course, the quality of the CACM review course is usually superb.
The AACI accredits a CACM Review course when it meets the following standards:
- The AACI or The AACI-accredited CACM Review course expert delivers the CACM Review course, and
- The duration of the CACM Review course is five business days @ 8 hours a day., and
- CACM delegates have access to two CACM practice question sessions, 25 questions each, during the course., and
- CACM delegates have the opportunity to sit for the CACM exam on the fifth day of the CACM review course.
The CACM Review course provider could be a strategic partner of The AACI or any third party. The AACI accredits the CACM Review course; we do not certify its provider.
The Exam Unit issues CACM delegates who attended The AACI-accredited CACM Review course Certificates of Completion of CACM Review Program following The AACI’s learning policies.
Yes. The AACI accredits individuals who meet the following conditions as experts qualified to present a five days CACM Review course:
- Scored 90% or more in the CACM Exam
- Graduated from an accredited university with a master or doctoral degree
- When the language of university classroom instructions was not English, a TOEFL score of more than 85 is required.
- Graduates of business schools must have been graduated from an AACSB accredited school of business.
- Be a member in good standing at The AACI
- The AACI does not charge any fee to accredit a CACM Review course regardless who the provider is, and
- The AACI does not charge The AACI-accredited CACM Review course provider any fee for issuing the CACM delegates certificates of completion of CACM Review course.
If you want to find out whether The AACI accredits the CACM Review course or not, you should ask the CACM Review course provider about each of the following accreditation parameters The AACI uses to accredit CACM Review courses:
- Does The AACI or The AACI-accredited CACM Review course expert delivers the CACM Review course?
- Is the duration of the CACM Review course five business days @ 8 hours a day?
- Shall CACM delegates have access to two CACM practice question sessions, 25 questions each, during the course?
- Shall CACM delegates have the opportunity to sit for the CACM exam on the fifth day of the CACM review course?
- Shall CACM delegates receive Certificates of Completion of CACM Review Program issued by The AACI following The AACI’s learning policies?
If the answer to any one of these questions is NO, then the CACM Review course is not accredited by The AACI.
No. The AACI accreditation of CACM Review courses provides a high assurance concerning the quality of the CACM Review course delivery and supports CACM delegates with higher chances to PASS the CACM Exam.
It does worth noting that The AACI does not require CACM candidates to attend any CACM Review course to sit for the exam. CACM candidates should decide whether they need to attend a CACM Review course or not. Further, CACM candidates are free to choose to attend any CACM Review course with any provider.
