The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism within its membership community. To ensure clarity and consistency in membership management, we are pleased to announce the updated official CACM Membership Renewal, Lapse, and Reinstatement Policy, effective April 1, 2025.
Key Highlights of the Policy:
✅ Annual Renewal Requirement – CACM members must renew their membership annually to maintain active status.
✅ Pending and Lapsed Memberships – If a member fails to renew on time, their status becomes pending and then lapsed after 120 days, resulting in the loss of all membership rights, including the use of the CACM designation.
✅ Reinstatement Procedures – Members seeking reinstatement after a lapse or suspension must fulfill specific requirements, including payment of outstanding dues, penalties, and, in some cases, retaking the CACM exam.
✅ Suspension Policy – Membership is suspended after three consecutive years of non-renewal, requiring additional steps for reinstatement.
✅ Hardship Consideration – Members residing in countries facing extraordinary economic or financial crises may apply for temporary relief on membership dues.
✅ Membership Dues Audit – The AACI’s audit findings on member dues will be final and binding, with discrepancies corrected retroactively from January 1, 2020.
This policy ensures fairness, transparency, and accountability in managing CACM memberships while upholding the professional integrity of the anti-corruption community.
We encourage all members to review the entire policy on The AACI’s official website:
